Soares Antiques was
founded in 1996. I
had been driving an Armored Truck since 1982 and realized I had a love for antiques and collectables.
I went on
trips, touring antique shops, after spending a
zillion dollars buying Fire King, California Pottery, Depression
Glass, Vintage Toys and Sports Memorabilia of every variety, I thought could do this as a business.
I took space in a
local shop and expanded into others. In 2002 I retired from the
Armored Truck business and I was managing an
antique shop in Yucaipa, C.A., but in the face of lagging sales,
the owner of the building sold the whole place. I had to decide what
to do with over 10,000+ items in
inventory. There were several factors involved, our
lagging economy and sagging sales in the shop, made pulling out
of the high overhead antique shops a business necessity. I
have a degree in Information Technology and am COMP-TIA i-net
certified in internet servers and internet security. I decided to take
the Antique Shop spaces and put them
on-line. This would be cost effective for me, and allow me to keep
my prices low for the customers. Pull up your

Uh oh! Changed your mind? That's
not a problem, you can send a cancellation
request or call us and we will cancel your order anytime
prior to shipping. If it already shipped, just return it
in the box for a full refund of your initial purchase
costs. Please include your order number with the
request!
Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American
Express and PayPal Payments (CONFIRMED ADDRESS ONLY! PayPal
orders will ONLY be shipped to the confirmed address), we
also accept Checks and Money Orders, and they can be used with
our shopping cart by choosing that option during the checkout
process! With a Check or Money Order purchase, please
remit within 10 days. Personal Checks will delay shipment
until the check clears, thank you and enjoy. Sorry, NO
C.O.D's! All items should ONLY considered sold when
payment is received by Soares Antiques. (See Terms
of Service Agreement for more details). NO PAYPAL

Shipping
We ship via USPS Priority Mail or
Parcel Post (takes longer) unless the item is exceptionally
heavy. Media rate mail is subject to the USPS rules other items must
be shipped by another method. (See Terms of
Service). If you choose an improper shipping method, the
customer assumes all liability for for damage to the item during the
shipping process.
International

Shipping on orders outside
of the Continental United States will be extra and is not
calculated automatically by the shopping cart. All
currency exchange rates and customs or duty fees are the
responsibility of the customer.
Return Policy
We do our best to describe each item
with all of their flaws, after all most of the items on are site
are used unless otherwise noted. Customer satisfaction is
our ultimate goal, a happy customer always comes
back, an un-happy customer NEVER comes back, nuff
said! We accept return items if you are not happy with
your purchase. Unfortunately, since we have been victims
of the "swappers", you know the people who have a
chipped plate or glass, bought my undamaged one, then want to
return their chipped one for a refund! On all breakable,
chipable or crackable items, there is a sticker. If the
sticker is removed, the item is NOT returnable as it is
the only way we can assure we are getting back the same item we
shipped! If you wish to return an item, please contact us,
PLEASE do not charge back, we will credit your credit
card. For items to be returnable, Soares Antiques must be
contacted within 3 days of the receipt of the item and the
item must be shipped back to us within 7 days of receipt.
Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped before a
refund can be issued. Return shipping to us is at your
expense. Communication is the key to success in any
endeavor, if there is a problem with your purchase, please
contact us if you are unsatisfied with your purchase.
